I’m planning on going to Liberation Now! in Berkeley, CA this upcoming October, should I bother going to Demand Liberation ?

YES, of course! While Liberation Now! is a national conference, the Demand Liberation regional action conferences are local events for young activists to meet, connect, and plan actions with other young activists in their region. The Demand Liberation events feature special Regional Action Planning sessions and are completely different programs from LibNow. We're also expecting a lot of people who won’t be able to make it to LibNow to attend the Demand Liberation regional action conferences - so tons of new people to meet!

Are travel grants available for the Demand Liberation regional action conferences?

Unfortunately, unlike our Liberation Now! national conferences, travel grants are not available. But we've kept the conference registration fee to be just as affordable - pre-register now for just $10 bucks. $20 at the door. Yummy vegan lunches and snacks are included!!!

Do I have to be a student to attend the Demand Liberation conferences?

Demand Liberation is organized for students of all ages AND youth. Our conferences feature programs that are specifically designed for students and youth. If you do not fall into either category, please check out PETA's upcoming Helping Animals 101 conferences.

I work for an animal protection nonprofit or animal-friendly business interested in promoting our services and products, are there any tabling or other promotional opportunities?

Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities to offer tabling space at our Demand Liberation conferences.
